Offered Twice:
As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly integrated into daily life, it also presents new opportunities for malicious actors to commit elder fraud. Understanding how AI can be leveraged for these schemes is crucial for protecting vulnerable populations. AI's capabilities, such as generating realistic deepfake audio and video, personalizing phishing attempts, and automating scam operations, make it a powerful tool for fraudsters looking to exploit seniors. Presented by Judith Boyd, Alamosa Public Library.
