Help ensure every veteran resident at the Veterans Community Living Center at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center receives a card of gratitude from our community.

This ongoing RSVP community service project invites volunteers and community members to write handwritten cards expressing appreciation, encouragement, and kindness to veteran residents. A simple message can help foster connection and remind veterans that their service continues to be valued.

Organization Overview

Dorcas Circle is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit serving Huerfano County, providing food access, clothing, and basic necessities to individuals and families in need. Through programs such as the food bank and thrift store, the organization works to improve health and quality of life while ensuring essential resources remain accessible to the community.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Opportunities are flexible—volunteer weekly, monthly, or as needed when extra support is requested.
