Our support groups address a variety of needsโ€”from recovery and caregiver support to LGBTQ+ community building and healing from domestic violence. Whether you're seeking tools for personal growth, looking to connect with others who understand your journey, or simply exploring what support might look like for you, we're here to walk alongside you.

Smart Recovery A Supportive Space for People in Recovery

SMART Recovery (Self-Management and Recovery Training) is a science-based support group that helps individuals overcome substance use and other problematic behaviors. Through practical tools and peer support, participants learn to:

Friend of Dororthy LGBTQ+ Older Adults

Friend of Dorothy is an ongoing supportive book discussion space for LGBTQ+ individuals aged 55+. This group provides a safe and compassionate environment to connect with others who understand the unique challenges faced both historically and in today's society. Each session features guided book discussions, educational resources, and peer supportโ€”empowering participants with tools to promote healing, resilience, and hope while creating a welcoming community.

Who Can Attend?: Individuals 55+ and who identify as LGBTQ+ or ally. The group is led in English

Braving the Journey Caregiver-Raising Child with Trauma

Braving the Journeyย is an 8-week supportive space for caregivers of children who have experienced trauma or abuse. This group offers a safe and compassionate environment to connect with others who understand the unique challenges of caregiving after trauma. Each session includes guided discussions, educational resources, and peer support, empowering caregivers with tools to promote healing, resilience, and hopeโ€”for both the child and themselves.

Who Can Attend?: Parents, guardians, foster parents, kinship caregivers, and others providing care for children impacted by trauma. This group is led in English but may be able to provide translation for Spanish.

This group provides a welcoming, judgment-free environment for caregivers of children who have experienced trauma and need support and tools to help their child and household heal. Participants will find a safe space where they can share their experiences, challenges, and successes while learning effective strategies for managing difficult behaviors, understanding trauma responses, and fostering resilience. The supportive community atmosphere encourages open dialogue and mutual respect, allowing caregivers to build connections with others facing similar situations and develop a network of ongoing support throughout their healing journey.

Survivors of DV Empowerment (Virtual and Colorado Statewide)

Survivors of DV Empowerment is an 8-week virtual support group for individuals who have survived domestic violence and trauma. This group provides a safe, compassionate environment where participants can connect with others who understand the unique challenges of healing and finding self-love after domestic violence. Each session features guided discussions, educational resources, and peer support, empowering survivors with tools to promote healing, resilience, and hopeโ€”both for themselves and their families.

Who Can Attend?: Adults, male or female, 18+ seeking support as survivors of domestic violence. The group is led in English.

When & Where:

Participants can expect a supportive atmosphere where their experiences are validated and their journey toward healing is respected. Through collaborative learning and shared wisdom, members develop tools for self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and establishing healthy boundaries while cultivating meaningful relationships with others who understand their unique challenges.

Raรญces Fuertes is a comprehensive 6-week support group designed to build community, resilience, and personal growth. This group offers a safe and empathetic space to build resilience, share experiences, while centering identity and culture.

Who Can Attend?: 18+ Spanish-speaking women. This group is facilitated in Spanish.

It is a 6-week virtual support group meeting every Tuesday to learn practical tools, share experiences, and build connection with others who understand the stress of a new week.

Who Can Attend?: Adults ages 20+, this group is facilitated in English.
