Licensed Mental Health Professional Volunteer

Volunteer with Spark to expand access to care by providing short‑term counseling (up to 10 sessions) for people facing barriers, facilitating support groups, and mentoring emerging clinicians through clinical supervision; the role is flexible and eligible for reimbursements on approved costs. To apply, you must hold an active clinical license and be prepared to offer brief counseling and or group facilitation or supervision, commit to a flexible schedule, align with Spark’s mission of equity and access, and complete Spark’s onboarding and screening steps.

Program Support Volunteer (Non‑clinical)

Help with outreach, events, intake support, and resource development to keep the program running smoothly.

Mental Wellness Task Force of Colorado Member (Non‑clinical)

Help shape statewide collaboration to expand access to mental wellness services across Colorado. Members advise Spark’s Mental Wellness Program and partner coalitions on strategy, partnerships, and best practices. Ideal candidates are Licensed mental health professionals, clinical candidate, school mental health leaders, public health, or community partners with relevant lived experience or a familiarity with Colorado’s mental health ecosystem and equity‑focused approaches. Clinical Candidate Seeking Supervision (Volunteer + Reduced Rate Clinical Supervision)

Post‑graduate candidates support community services a minimum of 4 hours/month while receiving affordable, high‑quality clinical supervision through Spark.

MSW Student Supervisor

An Individual with a Master’s in Social Work who has at least two years post‑graduation may serve as a supervisor for a graduate intern during their internship. This role provides weekly supervision aligned with university requirements and supports the intern’s professional growth.

Graduate Intern (Master’s‑level)

There are three volunteer pathways for graduate students in social work, counseling, psychology, or related fields:

(1) School‑Based Mental Wellness Internship

(2) Mental Wellness Program Internship

(3) Spark Partner Agency Supervision Support at an external host site (where Spark provides 3rd‑party supervision)

Support Group Facilitator

Lead or co‑lead structured support groups in collaboration with community partners. Topics may include grief, recovery, caregiver support, and more. See current groups run by MWP volunteers.
